01 — Who I Am

About me

I'm Precious, a developer passionate about technology, problem-solving, and building useful digital experiences. I started with web development out of curiosity about how things work on the internet, and that curiosity has grown into a commitment to learning, building, and solving real-world problems. I’m currently strengthening my JavaScript skills while exploring the wider possibilities within technology.

What I do

I'm a frontend web developer specializing in building responsive websites, interactive web applications, dashboards, and product interfaces.

What I enjoy building

I enjoy building clean, interactive interfaces and turning ideas into functional products.

What I'm passionate about

I'm passionate about creating useful products that people can actually rely on.

Currently learning

I'm currently learning advanced JavaScript, APIs, and modern frontend development.

What motivates me

Seeing an idea go from just a thought to something real that people can actually use, and getting better at what I do.

My approach

I start by identifying the problem, understanding why it exists, and thinking through the best way to solve it. From there, I plan the solution, build it, test it, and improve it based on the results.

Where I'm headed — I'm starting with web development and gradually expanding into other areas of technology. My goal is to become a versatile tech professional who can understand problems from different perspectives and build solutions across different fields.

02 — How I Got Here

My journey

  1. 2025 May

    Starting point

I started by wondering how things actually got online and how websites were built and made accessible to people around the world. That curiosity gradually developed into an interest in web development, and I wanted to understand how it all worked by trying it out for myself.

  2. 2025 June

    Learning the fundamentals

I started with HTML and CSS, then progressed into JavaScript. I learned through a combination of tutorials, documentation, online resources, and hands-on practice, applying new concepts by building projects. Along the way, I developed strong habits of experimenting, debugging, researching, and learning from mistakes, which continue to shape how I approach development today.

  3. 2025 September

    First projects

My first projects were simple websites that helped me turn what I was learning into something tangible. Building and shipping them taught me that development goes beyond writing code—it’s about bringing an idea to life, solving problems along the way, and learning through the process. Those early projects gave me confidence, strengthened my problem-solving skills, and showed me the value of building consistently.

  4. 2025 October

    Teaching & sharing

I started teaching in August 2025 during a BootCamp programme at our centre, where I introduced students to the fundamentals of HTML and CSS under supervision. After the BootCamp, I continued mentoring IT students from September to October 2025, helping them build a strong foundation in web development. In June - July 2026, I taught a new batch of IT students, covering HTML, CSS, and introductory JavaScript. I also returned as an instructor for the 2026 BootCamp, further developing my experience in teaching, mentoring, and simplifying technical concepts for learners.

  5. 2026

    A major milestone

One of my major achievements so far has been growing from a learner into someone capable of teaching others. Starting with learning HTML and CSS myself, I eventually had the opportunity to teach these skills to IT students and participate as an instructor in multiple BootCamp programmes. That experience became a turning point for me because it showed me that my knowledge could create value beyond my own growth — and gave me greater confidence in my ability to contribute, communicate, and lead.

  6. Now

    Current direction

I+m currently focused on deepening my knowledge of JavaScript and becoming more confident in building functional, real-world applications. I’m still learning, experimenting, and challenging myself with new projects while strengthening the fundamentals I ' ve already built. Beyond coding, I'm also focused on teaching, continuous learning, and preparing myself to explore broader areas of technology as I grow.

  7. Next

    Where I'm going

My next steps are to deepen my knowledge of JavaScript and modern development, then gradually explore areas such as software development, APIs, backend technologies, databases, and emerging technologies like AI. Ultimately, I want to become a versatile tech professional who can understand problems, build solutions, and contribute across different areas of technology.

04 — What I've Built

Featured work

Selected case studies — the problem, the approach, and what came out of it.

01
Student Dashboard preview

Student Dashboard

A responsive student dashboard designed to organize academic information and present student-focused data through a clean, structured interface.

Problem

Students often need important academic information presented in one clear place instead of scattered across different pages or interfaces.

Purpose

I built it to practice real-world dashboard design, responsive layouts, reusable UI patterns, and turning a structured idea into a polished interface.

My role

Frontend developer — I designed and implemented the interface, responsive layout, components, and interactions.

HTMLCSSJavaScript
Full case study

Key features

Responsive dashboard layout, sidebar navigation, student information cards, academic statistics, structured content sections, and a polished visual interface.

Challenges

Balancing a detailed dashboard layout with readability and responsiveness across different screen sizes.

How I solved them

I broke the interface into clear sections, used reusable CSS patterns and responsive layout techniques, then refined spacing, sizing, and hierarchy through testing.

What I learned

I strengthened my understanding of dashboard UI structure, responsive CSS, visual hierarchy, and building interfaces that feel practical rather than purely decorative.

Result

A functional portfolio project that demonstrates my ability to build structured, responsive interfaces and translate a concept into a usable frontend experience.

02
Atlas Prime preview

Atlas Prime

A modern responsive construction company website created to present services professionally and give potential clients clear paths to learn more and get in touch.

Problem

Construction businesses need a professional online presence that communicates credibility, services, completed work, and contact options clearly across devices.

Purpose

I built it as a real-world business website project, focusing on professional presentation, responsive design, service communication, and practical contact flows.

My role

Frontend developer — I designed and implemented the website structure, responsive interface, service sections, project presentation, and contact experience.

Key features

Responsive company pages, service presentation, project imagery, image carousel, business information, contact pathways, and mobile-friendly layouts.

Challenges

Keeping a visually rich business website organized while making sure images, sections, navigation, and contact actions remain usable on smaller screens.

How I solved them

I organized the page into clear content sections, used responsive CSS layouts, tested the interface across screen sizes, and refined the structure so the design remained consistent while staying functional.

What I learned

I learned more about building for real business goals, responsive presentation, content hierarchy, and making a website feel polished without sacrificing usability.

Result

A client-style construction website that demonstrates my ability to take a business concept and turn it into a complete, responsive frontend experience.

05 — Where I've Worked

Professional experience

2025 — 2026

Web Development Instructor / Frontend Developer

Center For Information and Telecommunication Engineering.

I taught and mentored students in web development, explained HTML and CSS concepts, guided practical exercises and projects, reviewed student work, helped debug coding issues, and simplified technical concepts for different learning levels.

  • I guided students through building and structuring responsive websites while helping them debug and solve coding problems.
  • I helped students move from learning individual HTML and CSS concepts to actually building responsive webpages and projects they could understand and explain.
  • I grew from learning web development myself into someone trusted to teach others, mentor learners, communicate technical ideas clearly, and contribute as an instructor across multiple programmes.
